Experience paradise at Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort, where six stunning pools, a private lagoon, and the widest stretch of Waikiki Beach create an unmatched tropical escape.
Main Pool Complex
At the heart of the resort is the Super Pool (approximately 10,000 sq ft), which overlooks Waikiki Beach and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Adjacent to it is the Keiki Pool, a shallow children's pool that allows families to stay close while younger guests splash safely in waist-deep water .
A short walk from Super Pool, the Paradise Pool features cascading waterfalls and a waterslide. The waterslide operates Sunday–Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday–Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., while the pool itself is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. . For guests seeking a quieter setting with ocean views, the Tapa Pool remains open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., making it the latest-closing pool on property .
Adults aged 18 and over can enjoy the Kalia Adult Pool, which includes its own hot tub and operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily; a Recreation Aide is present for safety oversight, and noise is kept to a minimum to ensure a peaceful environment . Guests staying in the Ali'i Tower have exclusive access to the Ali'i Pool, open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., providing a more private atmosphere .
Adjacent to these pool areas is the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, a five-acre saltwater lagoon with calm, circulating waters ideal for kayaking, aqua-cycling, floating on recreational toys, and gentle swimming. Families often use this lagoon for safe wading and sunbathing . Pool towels are available at towel stands next to each pool entrance, and light refreshments can be purchased at nearby poolside outlets such as the Paradise Pool Bar and various snack stations.
Beach Area & Rentals
Hilton Hawaiian Village spans the widest portion of Duke Kahanamoku Beach, offering resort guests direct access to a broad stretch of sand and gentle Pacific surf. Although the beachfront itself is public, on-property rental services make it convenient for guests to access equipment without leaving the resort grounds.
The gently sloping shoreline is well-suited for beginner surf lessons and casual swimming. Surf instructors and board rentals are available directly on the sand, and stand-up paddle yoga sessions often take place either on the beach or within the lagoon. Portions of the beachfront are patrolled by lifeguards, but conditions can vary throughout the day, so swimmers should always remain aware of current surf advisories and exercise caution when venturing beyond the shallow break .
