The Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort is a beachfront hotel in Waikiki featuring an outdoor pool area visible from the sand and offering private cabanas for rent. Pool Area The resort's pool is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is not staffed by lifeguards. Pool chairs and biminis are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while private poolside cabanas and daybeds can be rented. Towels for pool use can be picked up using a room key. Beach Area & Rentals Situated just steps from the pool area, the resort's stretch of Waikiki Beach grants registered guests direct sand access. Towels can be borrowed at the pool desk, and private beachfront cabanas—each furnished with cushioned seating and shade—are available for rent. Rentals and lessons for surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling gear, and other watersports are available, allowing guests to enjoy the reef-protected surf and marine life. Portions of the beachfront may be patrolled by lifeguards, but conditions can change, so swimmers should remain aware of current advisories and exercise caution when entering the water.
